A three piece grad dress: t-shirt dress, tulle skirt with chiffon overlay (and secret pocket) and under bust corset top = something she can wear again!
The corset top is boned only in 4 places, so it is pretty comfy, as is definitely the rayon cotton mini dress underneath. The idea was that the skirt could be worn for the more formal dinner/dance, and then taken off for the afterparty.
Another example of my “pretty, yet functional” philosophy!

Contrasting ribbon lacing gives interest and a nice line.
